Yumi Faleena Fernandez is a dynamic force in the global modeling industry. A Filipino international model, creative professional, and entrepreneur, Yumi is the visionary founder of Avenir Models Management, an international placement and development agency based in the Philippines.

With a career that spans commercial, print, runway, and influencer modeling, Yumi began her journey in the creative arts, graduating with a degree in Digital Arts and Design from Malayan Colleges Laguna. She continued her studies in Multimedia at Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna, where her passion for photography and design flourished between 2015 and 2017.

Yumi entered the modeling world at the age of 25, discovered by Farah Ramos and represented locally by Farah Models Philippines for four years. Her talent, work ethic, and distinctive presence quickly earned her international recognition. She was signed by RARO International, leading to her first overseas contract in Milan, followed by assignments in Hong Kong and, most recently, with Sando Management in Russia.

As an independent woman who embraces every challenge with resilience and heart, Yumi built her modeling career from the ground up. Her experiences—both highs and lows—inspired her to establish Avenir Models Management and Avenir Modeling Workshop in 2025, with a mission to empower aspiring models across the Philippines and connect them to global opportunities.

Today, Yumi stands not just as a model but as a mentor, a creative visionary, and a leader dedicated to shaping the future of modeling in the Philippines and beyond.
